Pura Vida

We can't believe its been 5 years since the Three Kings' big adventure to Europe. After dealing with COVID and moving into a new house, we are ready for another great trip. Clint and Ariadne have been taking Spanish and we are always up for some adventure, so this time it's Costa Rica for a month!!

After researching many options on itinerary, we decided we wanted to try to see as much of the country as possible without feeling too rushed. There are 2 coasts (Caribbean and Pacific), a large national park system, volcanoes and mountains, tons of beaches, and more eco and adventure tours than you can count. Ultimately, we decided to follow the 30 day itinerary suggested by My Tan Feet, which we highly recommend for information on travel to Costa Rica.

Because we wanted a kitchen and separate bedrooms, we are mostly staying in AirBnBs that we booked ahead of time, which means could not be too flexible with how long we stay in each place so the structured itinerary was good for us. Many activities, especially the National Parks, require advance booking as well, though less so for us as we are going at the beginning of the "Green" (rainy) season.
