Day 34: Journey home to Atlanta

From France to Switzerland to Budapest to Vienna to Prague to Berlin to Copenhagen to Hamburg and back to France, we were going home to Atlanta.

Our flight was long and mostly uneventful. Ariadne liked sitting by the window and watching all the luggage get transferred to the plane. She said she never saw our one suitcase we checked in. She kept saying she saw a whole truck full of suitcases that didn't get put in. We reassured her everything was fine.

Well, when we arrived in Atlanta and went to the carousel to get our suitcase, it was not there. After looking on our Delta app to track the suitcase, we found out it never got on our plane. Ariadne was right! According to the app, the suitcase would come on the next flight which was 2 hours later!! We decided not to wait for the suitcase and the Delta representative said someone would deliver it to our house. As promised, it did come the next day to our front door!

Home sweet home! It was nice to be home in our air conditioned house and our comfy bed with ice readily available when we wanted it.
