The wildlife was incredible. We got to see more bears, wolves, and elk!
Kepler Cascade was a 50' waterfall near Old Faithful.
Watching the Old Faithful Geyser go off was definitely a Yellowstone touristy thing to do. They had benches lined up all around the geyser. The visitor center even had predicted times the geyser would go off so you could prepare. Everyone had their cameras ready for the big event. Ariadne was front and center with her camera ready for action.
Grand Prasmatic Springs is the largest hot springs in the US. They build boardwalks around it so you could view it from every angle!
Our final stop on the south loop was to see the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
It was a windy day and on the drive back to the hotel, we watched as a tall, skinny tree fell over the road 2 cars up for us. Luckily the driver saw the tree falling and slammed on his breaks just in time. This must be a common occurrences people hopped out of their cars and started dragging the tree out of the road. So Clint and Theresa's brother joined them and the road was cleared quickly.
