Day 15: Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona

Our next destination was Phoenix, Arizon to visit friends and put the RV in the shop. The in vehicle AC didn't work so we would turn the generator on to use the house AC system when it got really hot. We made a lunch stop at Mi Nidito, a Mexican restaurant Clint at ate when he was here in 2001! Finding parking was tough but the food was delicious!

We stopped by the Saguaro National Park to see some cacti. We knew we didn't have time to hike, so we drove the 8-mile Cactus Forest Scenic Loop and stopped at the scenic vistas for great views.

We made it to Phoenix in time to enjoy a homemade dinner with our friends, the Cordners. Ariadne was excited to have other kids to play with!

After many phone calls, Clint finally found someone to service the RV the next day. Most said this was the start of their busy RV time and it would take about 2 weeks! Yikes! The Cordners were nice enough to to let us borrow their car tomorrow.
