Day 1: ATL -> HNL, North Shore, Oahu

We arrived 2 hours late to Oahu due to an emergency stop in San Francisco for a passenger who needed medical attention.  She seemed okay as she walked off the plane on her own, but she did have an IV in her arm.

We raced against the clock to the North Shore in hopes to see some surfers in the famous Bonzai Pipeline and see the sunset.  The drive was beautiful along the coast.  We made it to the beach to find that the season for the huge waves has passed. But, we still caught a beautiful sunset!

After a quick dinner, we headed back to our hotel in Waikiki for the night.  We needed a good rest for our packed day tomorrow!
