I have been trying since we've been in Vietnam to get a picture of little kids and their parents on a moped. While we stopped at a gas station, a man pulled up on his moped with his son. You can see the kids is shoeless, helmetless, and very young. He just rides in front of his dad on the moped!
We were welcomed into Saigon with a heavy thunderstorm. We had a final lunch with our tour group as we were all parting ways. We would be spending the next week in Saigon with family while the other half of our group was heading to the Mekong Delta. We could not have asked for a better tour guide nor companions with whom to spend the last 14 days traveling Vietnam!
After parting with our tour group, we checked into a hotel and rested up. We walked around downtown Saigon and then went to dinner with my dad's sister whom I have never met. I enjoyed watching their interactions as I could tell them missed each others' company the past 36 years. My parents ordered a Fish Hot Pot which is like fondue where the broth is boiled on the table. There is a plate of fish and greens placed on the table. Once the broth is hot, the waiter adds the greens and the fish. Unlike our normal hot pot experience, when the waiter added the fish, they all started jumping out of the pot and all over our table! Another only in Vietnam experience.

We ended the evening by driving by my dad's old neighborhood. His old neighborhood no longer exists as government buildings have replaced it now.
