Clint - We scheduled an early morning Scuba dive. Theresa hung out at the resort for the first dive while I got suited up and dove "The Edge" with Alex, a British bloke who started a diving company in Fiji a few years back. The first dive had a lot of great coral views. This time I swam next to a beautiful wall of coral and sometimes even got under it in semi-caves. Not much animal life other than multi-colored fish, but I did see a large sea turtle swimming deep along the reef. Theresa joined us for the 2nd dive at "The Ray" and while the coral views weren't as gorgeous, we did see several sharks swimming around the reef. One was longer than me and made us a bit nervous.

It wasn't quite as magnificent as the Great Barrier Reef, but it was still amazing to be able to be 100 feet down with the sea life. Alex was also much more laid back than Bec and company in Australia so I'm glad we did Australia first. They really taught us a lot and guided us through the whole dive there. Alex was more of a tour guide, just letting us swim ourselves while he showed us the cool spots. I really enjoyed the freedom he gave us. I'm considering getting certified to scuba after this trip. It's unfortunate we live 5 hours from the nearest ocean, however, the certification is good for life and I'm definitely doing it again.

We kept up the activities after that. I had another volleyball game while Theresa entered a tennis tournament. She did well, but did not win the day cruise that was up for grabs.

We finished off with one of our nicest dinners at the Ivi restaurant on property. The food was fantastic, the chef kept sending us "extras" between courses, and there was a great live acoustic guitarist/vocalist playing in the restaurant.
