Day 25 - Rainy Day at Outrigger

Theresa - We awoke to a cloudy and breezy day in Fiji. We made it just in time for breakfast buffet filled with cook to order omelets and lots of fruits! Yum! The pineapple and papayas were delicious!

Our resort is protected by a reef, so the water is very shallow for a long distance before you can
get more than your ankles in the water. The water was quite cold, so we decided to stay by the pool. We took a scuba diving lesson in the pool in preparation for our dive in the ocean later in the week.

When we got back to our room, our Talai butler had left us glasses of champagne and appetizers for us to enjoy before our dinner. She said she would be back later on in the evening to turn our bed down and bring us our night caps. After our drinks, we showered up for dinner. On our way out to dinner, we stopped at the poolside for the torch lighting ceremony to illuminate the bar around the poool.

Clint and I decided to eat dinner outside the resort at Vilisite's which was an authentic Fijian restaurant recommened in our travel book. We ate outside on the balconly overlooking the waters. The food was excellent!
